Review of Into the Woods

Hi everyone will today I went and saw Into the Woods. First, I wanted to see it because I could not tell what kind of movie it was. Was a musical? Was it a Scary Movie? Was it a fairy tale story? Second  I am a big Johnny Depp fan. Third I also have never seen the original In to the Woods. So I went and check it out.  Will I have to say it really depends on what type of movie you like. First Into the woods has a lot of songs in the movie. I read somewhere that this movie has over 27 songs. Also, in the movie there are  4 fairy tales tie together. Which were  Rapunzel, Little Miss Riding Hood , Cinderella, There could be one more fairy tale but I can not think of it lol. I really did not like that fact they all 4 fairy tales was tie together or all the singing. But that is just me. Best parts in the movie was the acting of Johnny Depp as the Big Bad Wolf and Meryl Streep as the witch. They did a great job Johnny Depp does not have a big acting role in this movie but the little bit he did have it was great. Meryl Streep did a great job acting and singing in this movie. Another thing I like about the movie is that they do have some jokes in the movie. I could hear the audience laughing at some parts which was great. That is always great to hear. Over all I feel it really depends on what type of movie you enjoy.  If you love a lot of sing and fairy tales that are told in a different way then I feel you will enjoy this movie. But, if you do not enjoy a lot of singing in a movie then I would pass on this movie or wait until it comes out on DVD. I give Into the Woods 3 stars.
